Safehaven Children's Home

Steve and Margy started Safehaven a few years ago when they gave refuge to a street orphan, since then it has grown so that today they have 35 orphans. This growth necessitated that they move out of town to have the space to care for and cater for their growing family. In addition, it has enabled Steve to have a small farm, or market garden, where he and the children grow food that supplements their diet.

We met Steve in 2012 when he was volunteering with the Gideon Society of Kenya and we assisted him with transport to rural areas where the majority of our schools are situated.
