All schools - girls post-puberty frequently miss a week of school every month due to menstruation, our trial in 2017 has shown that we can keep these girls in school by providing education, mentoring and reusable sanitary pads. We need funding to make this happen for all our girls. See Young Women's Program.
Global School Partner's guarantee - 100% of funds donated for a project or a sponsored child goes to the African school, the student and/or their family.

Success of previous appeals
2018 - thanks to generous support from our partner schools and many other donors, we were able to provide:
10 water tanks
16 beds with mattresses and blankets
6 washrooms for girls
1 school with electricity
2 educational tours to national parks
plus many more minor projects in our schools in Kenya
2017 - generous donors provided funds to:
build new classrooms where mud and stick classrooms had collapsed or existing classrooms were knocked down for road expansion by the local government
install water tanks in schools that had no water
build toilets for 2 schools who had insufficient and unsanitary toilet facilities
have desks made so students did not have to sit and write on the classroom floor
2016 - Nearly all GSP schools in Kenya have water access either from a well or water tanks. In 2016 our Walk for Water campaign involved two Australian pharmacists (Mark Naunton and Shane Jackson) walking the Kokoda Trail and raising money for water projects in GSP schools. GSP was able to install 4 water tanks and provide water to our schools and students.
2015 - St Thomas Nyakobaria Academy was deluged by heavy rain and a flash flood. Their generous partner school Penrith High School, NSW and other donors have helped rebuild the school.
2014 - one of the Kenya schools, Kerobe Joybright Academy, had four of its classrooms bulldozed as a local official wanted to put a road in that precise location – there was no compensation and only two week’s notice for the school. See the pictures of Kerobe Joybright Academy rebuilt.
