The need - better classrooms
St Gavin’s Academy in Kenya has rudimentary classrooms of wood and iron sheets. In 2017-18 GSP facilitated the building of new toilets and the first brick classroom.
The school desperately needs better classrooms to enhance the learning environment for students.

The need - water access
The students at St Gavin’s have to walk about 700 m to a stream to access water. They do this two or three times a day. A few months ago one of the students, a young girl, was attached by a dog when collecting water and spent days in hospital.
The school needs a water tank / well on the campus to supply water for students, and for the kitchen to prepare food.
