Musa was born in 2008 and he lives with his parents Mary and David. The family is very poor and struggle to keep Musa at school, therefore he may well be called upon to leave school to search for a job if sponsorship is not secured.
Trevin Nyanduko Oruru
Trevin was born in 2010. She lives with her single mother, Joyce, and her ageing grandmother, Eunice. Trevin is a very intelligent student and frequently comes first in class. Her mother is unemployed, as is her grandmother and they get casual jobs where and when possible, but it is not enough to sustain the family and Trevin is in danger of leaving school and being sent to work.
Ivy was born in 2008 and tragically her mother Irene was murdered, and Ivy lives with her father Nicodemus. The family is very poor and currently they are unable to pay any school fees, but out of compassion Victor Kiriama allows Ivy to attend school.
Valian Nyaboke Maeba
Valian was born in 2009. She lives with her parents Faith and Thomas, who are both unemployed. Her parents take casual jobs when available but it is never enough to provide a stable income for the family. Valian is intelligent and comes in the top 3 in class, most of the time and her mother is determined that Valian should get a good education.
Emmanuel was born in 2013. He lives with his mother, Margaret and his father is deceased. Margaret struggles as a single mother with no regular employment and she is determined to give Emmanuel the best start through education that she can.
