Daisy was born in 2007 and has 3 siblings - her younger sisters Gladys and Michelle and a younger brother Gideon. Her parents, Jennifer and Justus, work as casual labourers on other people's farms when they can find work. If there is no work they go hungry.

Faith was born in 2007 and has two brothers, Simon and John both older than her. Her mother Mary sells tomatoes in the street market to make ends meet. Life has been tough for the family since Faith's father died last January. 

Sharon was born in 2011 and has an older sister (Syndah) and two brothers (Joash and Ian). Her father died two years ago and had been the family breadwinner, consequently Sharon's mother Immaculate now sells bananas in the street market to bring in a meagre income.

Brian was born in 2009. His father abandoned his mother Olpha before he was born. He and his mother, plus his cousin Brian live with his grandfather Michael. Olpha does laundry for people to make ends meet. Unfortunately last year Michael had to have his leg amputated as a result of diabetes and is now in a wheelchair.
