Mathew was born in 2014. His father was killed in a tribal land clash and his mother was seriously injured. Mathew’s grandfather, Andrew, helps the family get food and other basics, but he is 80 years old. Mathew is interested in athletic pursuits and performs well at school.

David has three brothers and two sisters and they live with their parents. Having no land and no permanent jobs the parents take casual labor, like digging on other people’s farms to earn something to buy food
