Esther was born in 2010 and has two sisters Teresa and Mercy and a brother Bernard. Her parents Jackline and James are casual workers doing whatever jobs they can fine. this means that work is lowly paid and irregular, leaving the family frequently going wiyhout life's basics.

Dennis was born in 2008 and has two sisters Lucy and Mercy and a brother Simon. His father died 3 years ago and was the breadwinner. This has meant that his mother Eunice is struggling to support the family with basic necessities and she sells corn in the street market.
Brian Nyoonga Maosa
Brian was born in 2013 and has two sisters Faith and Yvonne. His parents Damaris and Sylvester are casual workers, usually working as farm labourers on small nearby farms. It is a challenge to provide food and other basics for the family.
Martha’s is 4 years old and really enjoys school. Unfortunately her father, Josiah, lost his job in a company restructure and was attacked by robbers shortly afterwards. The robbers maimed him during the attack and he is incapacitated and unable to work.This has the left the family in a precarious position and Martha’s schooling at risk.
Sharon is 4 years old and performs well in school. Her father, Jason, was the bread winner for the family but was in a motor accident and is unable to work. This has left Sharon’s mother, Naom, struggling to cover the basics for her family, meaning that frequently they have no food and go hungry.
Victorious is 5 years old and loves school. Her school fees were being paid for by a local Pastor, who has unfortunately passed away, leaving her at risk of dropping out of the school system. Her parents Jaspher and Wako are internally displaced Kenyans following election violence and are without work.
